March 31 – Eph. 2:19-20; “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone”.
_____
Nowhere in these two verses does it say that we must have prophets and apostles today! The verses tell us that we are no longer aliens in the common-wealth of Israel and then goes on to compare the body of Christ to a physical building, Jesus Christ being the cornerstone of it. The prophets and apostles were a secondary foundation with Jesus being the primary foundation of the church. Look to the teachings of the foundation the apostles and prophets laid for us – this is the true way to worship Him. The tense of the last sentence in this passage is past tense. It has already been built.
_____
“Point 3. The true church must have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets. Eph. 2:19-20”.

March 30 – Ephesians 5:23; “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body”.
_____
As we’ve already seen this year, the Mormons believe they are the saviors of man. So how many saviors are there? The verse above says that Jesus is the Savior of the body. And where does it say in the verse for today that the church has to bear the name of Jesus?
_____
“Point 2. The true church must bear the name of Jesus Christ. Eph. 5:23.”

The Many Faces and Descriptions of the Mormon Jesus
When I became a Christian the one thing I was most surprised about was what I learned about the Jesus in the Bible. He was so different from what I had been taught in my 30 years of being a Mormon.
We’ve written many articles about the Mormon Jesus and have listed the links below for you to read. Here are just 60 of the things Mormons believe about Jesus and the biblical rebuttal to each. We use these examples for our PSA’s (Public Service Announcements) on the radio.

March 29 –Eph. 4:11-14 shows us how the body of Christ operates. It says; “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children being tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”.
_____
For the next couple of weeks or so we will follow the “Seventeen points of the True Church”. It’s a little business type card the Mormons hand out to help show people why they are the only ones that truly follow Jesus Christ.
_____
“Point 1. Christ organized the Church. Eph. 4:11-14.”
While it’s admirable the Mormon Church uses the Holy Bible as a guide to support their theory, it is an ambiguous shot at best for their cover-up.
They only believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. This is their 8th Article of Faith.

MORONI – AN ANGEL OF LIGHT
My prayer for the ministry of Life After has been that we would be in God’s will at all times for all things. Whenever I think about the doctrines of Mormonism in light of what God has given and shown to me, my heart is sickened. Therefore our purpose at Life After Ministries is to always tell the truth while informing the public and offering the ultimate solution; that being the way to the real Heavenly Father. I will be asking a series of questions throughout this investigation and they will be listed at the end for quick reference as well.

March 28 – In 1 Cor. 1:10 Paul says; “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”.
_____
This scripture reference is what the Mormons use to ‘prove’ that all churches but them are apostate because we have so many different denominations. What they refuse to see is that if you follow the tenets of the Bible and see it as the infallible word of God, the name over the doorway is no different than each of us having our own identity with our given name.
_____
“If modern churches do not conform to the New Testament pattern of the true Church, then the non-conforming organizations are apostate. This simple test of the authenticity of any church claiming to be the Lord’s may be made by finding answer to such questions as: Where is there a church that has…some combination of the names of Christ as its name?” Mormon Doctrine, pg 45.

March 27 – Judges 16:30 tells us about the final act of Samson’s strength the Lord God had supplied him with; there is no question that no one lived as Samson did. “And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life”.
_____
The Book of Mormon is based upon revelations Joseph Smith received from the gold and brass plates the angel Moroni had delivered to Smith for translation. Remember, if a revelation disagrees with the Bible, even on the smallest of subjects, this would make it a false prophecy. Ask your Mormon friend if Smith was stronger than Samson.
_____
D&C 24:12 says; “And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his (Joseph Smith) mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give to him strength such as is not known among men”.

March 26 – Romans1:25; “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. A-men.”
_____
Today’s witnessing tip is a classic example of how Joseph Smith went about tricking people. The teachings of the Church would have their people believe one thing with the teaching of their god being a risen man who is progressive, but in the scripture below they say something totally different. Ask your Mormon loved one what they think of this contradiction.
____
Mormon 9:10; “And now if ye have imagined up unto yourselves a god, who doth vary, and in whom there is shadow of changing, then have ye imagined up unto yourselves, a god who is not a God of miracles”.

March 25 – John 4:24 says “God is a spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
_____
The Mormons honestly believe they came from the loins of God Himself. Ask them about their “Heavenly Mother”.
_____
“So God brought his own race upon the earth and planned that it should reproduce after its own kind in its own likeness and image. Adam and Eve were in the likeness image of God and therefore, when they reproduced they were to reproduce the race of God, each child being in the exact likeness and image of God”. Utah’s Dark Reality Just Keeps Getting Darker
2010 Utah Suicide Report
Mark 12:29-34; “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

March 24 – Luke describes the Virgin Mary to his readers as such: “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women”. Luke 1:28.
_____
Although the Mormon Church allowed people of color into the Church, their teachings have not changed. They’ve had more than 25 years to change their scripture, but it’s still the same. This is confusing to the Mormon.
How reasonable is it that Mary, a young girl from the Middle East, would be fair and white?
_____
1 Nephi 11:13 describes to the Mormon what Mary looked like. “…and in the city of Nazareth I beheld a virgin, and she was exceedingly fair and white.”

March 23 – John 1:18; “No man hath seen God at any time…the Only Begotten Son hath declared Him”.
_____
The whole Mormon story depends on what or whom Joseph Smith talked to in the grove of trees. He claims it was God the Father and His Son. In light of the above verse, one has to wonder.

March 22 – Hosea 11:9; “…for I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst…”
_____
After the Mormon asks you to pray Moroni 10:3-5, ask them what they think of God. Who is He, what does He look like, etc? Remember, Mormons believe He’s an exalted man.
_____
Moroni 8:18; “For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity”.

March 21 – Jer. 17:9; “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
_____
Mormons will always ask you to pray the following verses in Moroni and you will receive a “burning in the bosom” from knowing the Church is true. Ask them how you can trust Moroni based upon what Jeremiah said above.
_____
Moroni 10:3-5; “Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

2008 Vital Report
Utah’s Legacy
Before I sent this off to be published I wanted to add a few words, especially for the members of the LDS Church.
You know, as we live this life on earth we learn and grow while encountering things we never thought of before. Years ago I went about making sure that I brought children into this world because I was convinced it’d get me into heaven. Now of course I’ve learned this doctrine isn’t true, but more importantly there was one other thing I didn’t think about when having all these kids. That one thing was growing attached to and feeling compassion for the kids my own children would one day surround themselves with in life.

March 20 – Ex. 12:9 says; “Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it”.
_____
God was rather clear when He told the Israelites not to eat raw meat, but in the Book of Mormon this isn’t a problem with their god. Ask them why this would be so.
_____
1 Nephi 17:2; “And so great were the blessings of the Lord upon us, that while we did live upon raw meat in the wilderness, our women did give plenty of suck for their children, and were strong, yea, even like unto the men; and they began to bear their journeyings without murmurings”.

March 19 – Numbers 14:25; “(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley). To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea”.
_____
Use this verse as a geography lesson for the Mormon. There has never been a river that empties into the Red Sea. It is surrounded by wilderness (desert) only.
_____
1 Nephi 2:8; “And it came to pass that he called the name of the river, Laman, and it emptied into the Red Sea; and the valley was in the borders near the mouth thereof.”

VITAL STATS 2006
Every eighteen months or so for the past several years I have compiled a set of reports from varying agencies that describe the health and well being of Utah. It’s been my experience with the findings that I am saddened each time by the results. I am more convinced with each report that being a member of the LDS Church plays a major role in the dismal outlook for the residents of Utah, both physically as well as spiritually.
