Lack of Scriptural Evidence Proves Jesus was a Polygamist
Jesus was Married, pg 103; “Without the evidence of ancient papyrus, the conclusiveness of the scriptures, or the light of new revelation, reason alone should convince the mind that Jesus was married. Believing in a Christ who lived a life without the personal feelings of a father toward his children or a husband for his wife, is nearly unimaginable. It requires a perverted Christianity to believe in a god without body, parts, or passions, and it also requires a similar superstition to believe in a lonely, secluded, celibate Christ.”
1 John 3:1; “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”
His comment speaks for itself. There’s no evidence of Jesus being married and anything said about His life in that regard is nonsense.
Mormons cannot accept that God’s feelings are much greater than ours. They won’t believe He’s above all of us and doesn’t succumb to reactionary feelings that man does.
He came for a greater purpose than to live the human life. Why can’t Mormons get that?
I think that’s because they don’t believe in the Triune God if the Bible. Everything that the LDS has about their god is human-related. By bring their god to the human level, it makes for a completely different religion than Christianity.
Joseph Smith was not an educated man and it appears that he devised these explanations for all things pertaining to a god he could relate to.
But God says in the Bible,
Isaiah 55:8 KJV For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
