January 31 – Leviticus 18:21; “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God; I am the LORD”.

The reason for understanding why Molech is important when witnessing to a Mormon is because they’ve changed its meaning.  Molek is found in Strong’s Concordance, # 4427-4432.  In the Hebrew it means the chief deity (king) or god of the Ammonites.

The ancient Ammonites, Canaanites and Phoenicians would sacrifice their children to him in lieu of favors or blessings.  Molech was an idol made of brass that was heated up from the lower regions of the statue.  With his outstretched arms, they would lay the child on the statue after it had become sufficiently heated enough to ensure death.  Priests from the cult would play drums and other musical instruments loudly so the parents couldn’t hear the screams coming from the child.  Also see Jeremiah 7:31; 32:35; Amos 5:26 and Lev. 20:2-5.

Joseph Smith chose to change names of people, places and things taken from the Bible, and inserted them into the Book of Mormon to purposefully trick members of the Church.  This keeps the members in a state of foggy confusion which in turn keeps them imprisoned in the lies of Mormonism.

Ask your Mormon friend or loved ones what they think of your findings.

Here is the Book of Mormon’s definition:  Mulek was the land in the north that God prospered and appointed.  Mulek was a son of Zedekiah.  Helaman 6:10.
