Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not; Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

The old saying, ‘the more things change, the more they stay the same’ is true to life for the Mormon Church.

Surely, the Church is the poster child for the phrase as seen in the multiple switcheroos  we’ve seen as of late.

Once again they’re changing the style of temple garments to accommodate needs of societal change. They’ve now come out with a modern material, in addition to new fittings, especially for the women.  (more…)

Are They Watching You?

Today as I was surfing the net I popped over to the Mormon Church’s web site, lds.org. It’s undergone some major changes since the last time I visited. On the site now members and non-members can sign up for an account that will allow them certain privileges on the site.

As I clicked to see what information a church member would have to provide to receive an account, I discovered that to receive full access to they must provide their Member Record Number located on their Temple Recommend.
