Ancient of Days; Jesus or Adam?
Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 167; “Commencing with Adam, who was the first man, who is spoken of in Daniel as being the “Ancient of Days,” or in other words, the first and oldest of all, the great, grand progenitor of whom it is said in another place he is Michael, because he was the first and father of all.”
Daniel 7:9; “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.”
Please, give just one biblical verse proving that Adam is Ancient of Days or Michael the Archangel. The Bible verse above makes no mention of Adam.
Does it have to? It also makes no mention of Christ, as your title would suggest, so are you asserting a false prophecy?
The simple fact is that nowhere in the Bible does it identify who the “ancient of days” is, or who Michael is, and thus their identity is a matter of interpretation and no particular interpretation can be proven false.
Oh, and by the way, Adam being the ancient of days is not a prophecy in and of itself, but a doctrine. I know you like confusing the two, but it really doesn’t help you out very much.
