Mormonism is a Terror
Journal of Discourses 4:41; “I have frequently told you, and I tell you again, that the very report of the Church and kingdom of God on earth is a terror to all nations, wheresoever the sound thereof goeth. The sound of “Mormonism” is a terror to towns, counties, states, the pretended republican governments, and to all the world. Why? Because, as the Lord Almighty lives and the Prophets have ever written the truth, this work is destined to revolutionize the world and bring all under subjection to the law of God, who is our lawgiver.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, August 31, 1856
Proverbs 16:5; “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.”
What is it about Mr. Young and all the boasting?
The work of Mormonism won’t be revolutionizing any country let alone the world and their prophets have done everything but tell the truth.
This looks like a Democratic party plant to demean our next president.
Oh Reverend… This blog site and the people that “run it” are soooo far Right of the Democratic Party and its ideology. This is not a “Demo-commie” plant to “demean our next president”. We would’ve loved to have had Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachman, or even Newt Gingrich on the Republican ticket.
Besides the fact that the Mormon church has been wanting to get one of its members into the White House since Joseph Smith tried, Romney has been too middle of the road or a left leaning on very important “social” issues (I say they are Moral issues) like same sex marriage and abortion. Take a look at his record in Massachusetts… ok, so he says he has changed since then… how do we know that he won’t cave to pressure, like he did in Mass.? A real man of God would’ve jeopordized his political career and job to stand up for what is right. (Then again the Mormon church has had some history when it comes to the Gov telling them who (or how many) they can marry, and they believe that in cases of rape, incest, and health of the mother the abortion decision is between the mother and God… Which equates to “pro-choice”. Sure they don’t believe that it should be used as “birth control”, but they still allow for it in other cases. Life begins at conception so an abortion for any reason is MURDER)
Like most conservatives I would love to see a White House that does not have a liberal/socialist ideology permeating its walls. “Anybody but Obama” is the popular phrase nowadays with conservatives, of which I have been known to say from time to time… I would vote for “Forrest Gump” right now if it meant getting the “chicago politicians” out of the W.H.
Perhaps you are not very well versed in Mormon theology, doctrines, and history… Please take the time to delve into each of those 3 areas. You will find that their views on God, salvation, Jesus, Heaven, Hell, Satan, works, etc. do not line up with Biblical Christianity. They believe that the Mormon church is going to save this country from destruction and be the vehicle behind a soon coming Theocracy (controlled by the Mormon church). They believe that this country was discovered and founded so that the Book of Mormon could be discovered and so that Jesus could restore His church on the American continent.
“We know by revelation that the United States was established as a nation by the Lord for two chief reasons: 1. So the Book of Mormon, containing as it does the fullness of the gospel, might come forth with its message of salvation to both Jew (which includes the Lamanites) and Gentile. 2. So that the Lord’s true Church might be set up again on earth, and thus have the way opened up for the fulfilling of the covenants made by the Lord with the house of Israel”.

Please check out the book, “One Nation Under Gods” by Richard Abanes… you can find it on Amazon… it will open your eyes to the LDS church.
