Jesus
Messages for Exaltation, pp. 378-379; “[Jesus Christ] was willing to make payment because of his great love for mankind, and he was able to make payment because he lived a sinless life and because he was actually, literally, biologically the Son of God in the flesh.”
John 1:1, 13-14; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Their message sounded pretty good until they had to turn it into a sexual one. As per their typical rant, it always turns out this way. Mormonism is built upon two things; sex and godhood and you can’t get one without the other.
How I wish and what I’d give if they’d just read the Bible and believe it. It’d solve so many of their problems and inconsistencies!
John 1 says it all. God gave us His Word.
Yes, I will pray also that the Mormons read the Bible ALONE. God did NOT give us anything else. Scripture alone!
Amen Sue and thanks for praying!
I know there was a small handful of people who prayed for my salvation and I’m convinced God heard those prayers! None of the people praying for me actually knew each other and each lived in different countries and/or states but each loved Jesus and me.
His word tells us the Father isn’t going to hand us a serpent when we ask for a fish. I wanted to know Jesus and my friends were asking for my salvation and He answered our requests. Luke 11: 9-13;
“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
I am convinced the Mormon people love Him but they’ve got the wrong Jesus, the wrong Heavenly Father and wrong god. I’m also convinced He hears and intercedes for us when we ask with a sincere heart. What about the situation with Abraham and Lot? That story wasn’t placed in the Bible just to give us another “story” to read! 😉
