Enoch’s Age & Problems in D&C
D&C 107:49; “And he saw the Lord, and he walked with him, and was before his face continually; and he walked with God three hundred and sixty-five years, making him four hundred and thirty years old when he was translated.
Genesis 5:23; “And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.”
Oops. How many false prophecies will it take for members of the Church denounce all their false prophets?
Where did those extra years come from?
Those extra years came from the wistful imagination of its author. The Bible has very limited info on Enoch and to interpose our own opinions of what we think God must have meant is dangerous indeed! Michelle
