Jesus’ Gospel Law
The Mortal Messiah 3:125; “This gospel is that he [Jesus] came into the world to work out the infinite and eternal atonement; that he is God’s Son, the Promised Messiah; and that if men will believe in him and live his law they will be raised not alone in immortality but unto everlasting life in the Everlasting Presence.” – Bruce McConkie, LDS Apostle [emphasis mine]
Romans 10:4; “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.”
If you’re a Mormon what does the verse in Romans mean to you personally?
Think about it.
If Jesus is the end of the law then what law is left to obey?
Romans 8:24 says; “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
The word gospel means good news! Is it good news when after all the work is done you’re told you still have to work?
