A Ministry of Meetings: The Apostolic Diaries of Rudger Clawson, p 71-72; “Pres. Geo. Q. Cannon also spoke upon the law of tithing. Among other things [he] said, “there are those in this audience who are descendants of the old 12 Apostles and, shall I say it, yes, descendants of the Savior himself. His seed is represented in this body of men.” – Edited by Stan Larson, Signature Books, 1993
Jeremiah 14:14; “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”
Isn’t it telling the Lord used the word divination when He said the prophets of Jerusalem were prophesying false visions? While this is a lesson from the past we can take heed and apply it in our daily lives today.
Where in the Bible does it say Jesus had children?
Where is the proof anyone in this meeting at their temple are descendants of the original twelve apostles?
What purpose did this man’s “prophecy” serve to those in attendance?
The LDS people want to believe these lies because if they cracked open their Bibles they have no reason to cling to Mormonism.
Ask your Mormon friends and loved ones if they believe they could be descendants of the Lord or the original apostles and show them why this can’t be!
