Beasts in Revelation from Another Planet

Joseph Smith Diary, Sunday April 2, 1843; “1 P.M. attended meeting. Joseph read 5th Chapter of Johns revelation. referring particularly to the 6th verse. showing from that the actual existence of beasts in heaven probable those were beasts which had lived on another planet than ours—” – Willard Richards, Ramus, IL

Revelation 5:6; “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth”.

Where in the text of Revelation does it say the beasts came from another planet? 

Why didn’t anyone ever call this guy to the carpet and reprove him?
