I wrote the witnessing tip of the day calendar back in 2010 or thereabouts and have been recycling it over time with some variations here and there. It’s a huge undertaking… Well, I decided some time ago that it needed to be updated and I prayed. I put it off some more and prayed some more. Whine, whine…(anyone have cheese to go with that whine?!)
While trying to come up with some handy-dandy ideas of how I was going to do this the Lord reminded me of how fond I am of all the OT prophecies that Jesus fulfilled. Then He reminded me there’s more than 360 of them and there’s 365 days in a year…duh Michelle…
Sooo…with my light bulb moment illuminating the Seattle skyline that’s the foundation of the new calendar. (Thank You Jesus) Every day we’ll take a gander at an OT prophecy along with the NT fulfillment and compare those with LDS beliefs for that subject matter.
You’ll be able to read a new one each day, but in the meantime the old ones will stay put until that day is replaced with the new witnessing tip.
And as a bonus – thanks to the observant eyeballs of one of our readers (thank you Diane!), we discovered an error in our Mentoring Handbook so I had Melissa rewrite the first chapter for me and that’s been updated as well.
