Psalm 118:8; “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
I’m wondering…would the average Mormon believe this verse is translated incorrectly?
So many times I’ve commented that for every Mormon doctrine or teaching there is, God’s word proves them to be wrong. Today’s Mormon teaching from their apostle is proof of that.
Although this teaching is over 30 years old, it stands as an example they’re still holding true to this theory.
I know that whenever I speak to my mother about specific topics she’ll always respond the same way and tell me, ‘I’ll find out when I get there’, meaning she’s not open to discussing it any further. If you’ve experienced the same thing I want to encourage you not to stop!
We’re here to plant seeds – the Holy Spirit is the One that does the converting! God is sovereign and whenever we speak truth, it never comes back void – Isaiah 55:11. We’ve been blessed in this ministry by seeing hundreds of people who come to know the Lord and just when we think our work isn’t producing, the Lord lets us know we’re wrong! Praise Jesus!
