January 7 – The Everlasting Covenant is Christ Jesus our Lord. Hebrews 13:20 says; “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant”.

The Greek the word for everlasting is aionios. (Strong’s #166). The transliteration means perpetual, or forever.

Share the blessing of dictionaries, lexicons and concordances with a Mormon today. Their interpretation of the everlasting covenant is polygamy. D&C 132.
Ahhhhh…typical born again bashing. I am sorry you are so miseraable. Read your scriptures and do what they tell you to do. Do Not tell me you are saved. People who need to bash others faith to make them feel better, are not good people. You are teaching false doctrine yourself….do not tell me you are saved. You certainly are not. I feel sorry for you. You are a lost soul. Thank you for the good Mormons I know, who do live as the scriptures tell them to live.
Katie, what part of the post or website gives you the impression we’re “miserable”? We read and study the bible daily, and we do strive to live as Jesus commands us to.
From scripture we learn that we’re commanded to love people, and to share the gospel with the lost, and that’s what we do here. The truth isn’t always easy to hear, and some people may think it’s unkind to tell someone they need to repent and turn to Jesus Christ, but that’s what we’re called to do.
If we didn’t love and care for the Mormon people we wouldn’t bother to do what we do.
Many of us at Life After Ministries are former Mormons, and some of us have loved ones who are still devoted to this religion. We’ve lived on both sides of the fence. We know what it’s like to live a life outside of Jesus Christ, and we know what it’s like to live a life with Him. And we want all people Mormons and non-Mormons to know the joy that comes from living a life with Him.
Whether people choose to accept or reject our message of Jesus Christ is completely up to them, but that won’t stop us from going forward as we continue to share Him in everything we write, do and say. – Melissa Grimes
