Joseph Smith’s Twisted Scripture

Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 315; “There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. I discover hundreds and thousands of my brethren ready to sacrifice their lives for me.”

John 15:13; “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

There’s not a verse in the Bible that Smith left unmolested.

This time around he tried to:

1.Take attention away from Jesus’ mission of being a servant for God

2.Refused to recognize God will die for us

3.Make people believe everyone would fall at his feet or even give their lives for him

4.Shifted focus away from Jesus and projected it upon himself

5.Indicate he’s your friend, but you’re not his

What godly man or friend would do this?

Do your friends lie to you?

“Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I all founded empires, but on what did we rest the creation of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded His empire on love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him.” – Napoleon Bonaparte
