LDS Gospel Disses Jesus

Church News, July 3, 1999, p. 3; “Our message is so imperative, when you stop to think about the salvation, the eternal salvation of the world, rests upon the shoulders of this Church. When all is said and done, if the world is going to be saved, we have to do it. There is no escaping from that. No other people in the history of the world have received the kind of mandate that we have received. We are responsible for all who have lived upon the earth, and that involves our missionary work. And we are going to be responsible for all who will yet live upon the earth.” – Gordon B. Hinckley

New Era, ‘Questions and Answers,’ September 1996; “…the lives of our people must become the only meaningful expression of our faith and, in fact, therefore, the symbol of our worship…” – Gordon B. Hinckley

Matthew 23:27-28; “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”

We’ve looked at these two quotes individually in previous posts, but I began thinking about them collectively and as you can see, they reveal the true LDS Church. 

The gospel of Mormonism isn’t about Jesus at all. The gospel according to the Church is about their pride, their god, their agenda and the spiritual prison walls they’ve built up around its members, enslaving them to the lies they encumber them with.

Where is Jesus if you’re the savior of the world? 

Where is Jesus if you’re the symbol of your faith? 

Where is the message of the cross? 

Where is the eternal hope God freely gives to His creation?
