General Conference, April 2015, “Thy Kingdom Come”; “We live in days of wars and rumors of wars, days of natural disasters, days when the world is pulled by confusion and commotion. But we also live in the glorious time of the Restoration, when the gospel is being taken to all the world. …
Brothers and sisters, seeing and believing the Lord’s miracles as He establishes His kingdom on earth can help us see and believe that the Lord’s hand is at work in our own lives as well.
The Lord declared, “I am able to do mine own work” (2 Nephi 27:20). We each try to do our part, but He is the grand architect. Under the direction of the Father, He created this world. “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made which was made” (Joseph Smith Translation, John 1:3 [in the Bible Appendix]). …” – Elder Neil L. Andersen, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
John 1:3; “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”
Matthew 4:16-17; “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. 17 ¶ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
1.As he establishes his kingdom? Really?
For the record – God has already established His Kingdom here on earth. Make no mistake my friends, it’s already a done deal!
2.Grand architect? Really? This is a Masonic term, not a Christian one. Besides all that, Mormon canon tells us their god merely organized elements to create the earth. Moreover, Brigham Young stated that God never had the power to create an earth.
3.How do you believe in Jesus’ miracles when you don’t believe the Bible? In early April we saw how Brigham taught believing in Jesus’ miracles leads to temptation, so now what?
4.How can Jesus be ‘the grand architect’ if he created the world under the direction of his father?
100% Masonic!
Amen!
