In my article about Joe Smith and all his wives, I incorrectly said he had 57.
I visited the all Mormon website familysearch.org and found ol’ Joe’s pedigree chart listing all his wives. To be honest, I was surprised they’d be so bold to do such a thing, be that as it may, they proudly published his ne’er-do-well activities epitomizing his short 39 years on this earth.
There were ten other wives on their chart that I didn’t include in my report several years ago, so I’m listing their names here and be on the lookout for an updated version on the wives of ol’ Joe.

What got me going on this subject matter stemmed from the activities our country saw take place on Friday (July 3, 2015). Five people in black robes mandated a law they had no business doing by misinterpreting the roles of their job.
Judges are in place to interpret the law, not legislate it. Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame.
Chief Justice Roberts’ summation echoed the same thing I’ve been saying for years about gay marriage in America.
If they legalize that, polygamy’s next. And God forbid, but if polygamy and gay marriage is okay, watch out because bestiality and NAMBLA’s not far behind. A guy out in Kentucky filed for a marriage license to marry his horse. No joke.
The LDS Church has a post on Mormon.org stating their position on polygamy and here in part is what it said;
“At various times, the Lord has commanded His people to practice plural marriage. For example, He gave this command to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, and Solomon (Doctrine and Covenants 132:1). At other times the Lord has given other instructions…
The Lord’s law of marriage is monogamy unless he commands otherwise to help establish the House of Israel (see Encyclopedia of Mormonism Vol. 3, pp. 1091-1095).”
Can anyone say ‘revelation’? As of right now there’s another lawsuit waiting to be heard, this time in Montana filed by a man who said he was ‘inspired’ by the Court’s ruling. He wants to marry both of his wives. Oh brother…
If I was a betting woman, I’d say to give it a year. If that. I don’t think it’ll be long before you’ll be hearing from a General Conference in Salt Lake they’ve heard from their god.
In all the madness, I did appreciate some of the comments and summations of the minority votes coming from SCOTUS that reflected truth. Shockingly, there are still some people out there who honor God’s law and America’s too.
Justice Scalia said ‘the Supreme Court is now a threat to American democracy’. I have to ask – how scary is that?
Fox News also reported on some of Justice Roberts’ comments when they said;
“Roberts charged Friday that the court had no right to intervene in what should be a democratic debate by the people, at the state level, over same-sex marriage.
“This court is not a legislature,” he wrote. “Whether same-sex marriage is a good idea should be of no concern to us. Under the Constitution, judges have power to say what the law is, not what it should be.”
As for the state’s role, he said: “The fundamental right to marry does not include a right to make a State change its definition of marriage.””
My comment about the whole scenario comes from Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 & Romans 1:26-27 respectively –
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
Did no one stop to wonder what God has to say about all this? May God have mercy on America!
Finally, we need to pray for our country and those who’ve fallen into the trap of thinking these are acceptable lifestyles!
How many wives does their current profit, Thomas Monson, have?
As far as we know he’s a widower. When he was married, he had one wife. If he remarries he can have that wife sealed to him for eternity, making it so he’ll have 2 wives in heaven. At least that’s what they believe…sigh…
