Witnessing Tip of the Day February 10

February 10 – World’s Debt to Joseph Smith. Joshua 24:14-15; “Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

I like what it says in Joshua and that’s what every single ex-Mormon Christian has done.  They’ve put away the gods their fathers served. Never give up on witnessing dear one! God’s word never comes back void. It may take the one you’re witnessing to years before they leave, but guaranteed, God’s word will be mulled around in their thoughts when you share it with them! Ask a Mormon if they believe what Joseph Fielding Smith said in the quote below.

Improvement Era, June 1916, Vol. Xix, No. 8, pp. 718-719; “For the same reason the Prophet Joseph Smith was the most important man of his generation. Some day he will be honored by the whole world as a man who restored the lost knowledge of the true and living God, and answered anew the all-momentous question: “What must we do to be saved?””
