October 5 – Lies that bind. Genesis 1:28, 3:15; “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

When was the last time, if ever, you’ve been proud of, and praised God for your sin? If you have kids, do you praise them when they misbehave? How reasonable is it that Eve would thank God she was part of the reason all of humanity now lives in a broken world?
Here’s what it says in Moses 5:11 “And Eve, his wife, heard all these things and was glad, saying: Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient.”
You’ll want to point out the sequence of events as they transpired. First God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, and then they sinned. They would’ve had kids in the Garden of Eden if they hadn’t disobeyed, which is just the opposite of what the LDS Church proclaims.
This type of fallacious doctrine is what keeps Mormons tied to the lies they believe. They’ve been conditioned to believe children are the most valued thing in life, even more important than the Lord Himself. Be sure to point out this all important info with a Mormon!

Ensign, ‘Christ and the Creation,’ June 1982 “One of the most profound doctrinal declarations ever made fell from the lips of mother Eve. She said: “Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient.” (Moses 5:11.)” – Bruce R. McConkie
