December 13 – Messiah to be God and man. Jeremiah 23:5-6; “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
Colossians 2:9; “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
Aside from all the miracles performed by God, and not counting the fact He created the universe and everything therein, the incarnation of God on earth can be seen on nearly every page of our Bibles. The numerous Hebrew names in how He’s referred, speaks to the character of Who He is, and what He’s done.
The fulfilled prophecy we see listed today is just one of the 333 any true believer can read about and drink in, simply by opening up his/her own Bible. One can find the truth that the Messiah would be both God and man, dwell on this earth, offer salvation for mankind through His death, and then be resurrected into the heavens. Simply stated – it’s a story like no other!
Ask the Mormon you know how Joseph Smith could’ve been God, if he didn’t fulfill any of the much needed requirements to qualify for such a lofty status.
Joseph Smith; God to All – Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 363; “God made Aaron to be the mouthpiece for the children of Israel, and He will make me be god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don’t like it, you must lump it. I have been giving Elder Adams instruction in some principles to speak to you, and if he makes a mistake, I will get up and correct him. (April 8, 1844.) —DHC 6:318-320.”
