Witnessing Tip of the Day December 8

 December 8 – Messiah Would Enter Jerusalem Riding a Donkey. Zechariah 9:9; “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: Behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; Lowly, and riding upon an ass, And upon a colt the foal of an ass.”

We can see the fulfillment of Zechariah’s prophecy in Luke 19:35-37. It’s an awesome promise for us today, enjoyed in the hearts of every believer, and I’m certain you’ve done that many times in your walk with the Lord! Take note of one of the key phrases in Zechariah’s text;

‘He is just, and having salvation…’ Only Jesus has salvation.

Now imagine the heretical doctrine of Joseph Smith claiming salvation wouldn’t be possible without his birth, and the continuing blasphemy perpetuated by leaders of the LDS Church today.

Joseph’s name wasn’t mentioned in any of 333 OT prophecies about Jesus. Joseph didn’t ride into Jerusalem on a donkey. Joseph didn’t carry salvation with him in the 19^th century. Be sure to share this prophecy and its fulfillment, with the Mormon you know!
