January 27 – Why are you perfect until you’re eight? D&C 68:27; “And their children shall be baptized for the remission of their sins when eight years old, and receive the laying on of hands”.
When was the last time you didn’t have to reprimand a two year old? We are all born sinners; we “all fall short of the glory of God”. Ask a Mormon why they believe a 7 year old isn’t sinful but an 8 year old is. Also ask where in the Bible does it say everyone is born perfect, and not a sinner. You see, Mormons don’t believe kids can’t sin until they’re eight years old, and then they have to be baptized for the remission of sins. Why?
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous”. Romans 5:19
