Tip of the Day February 21

 February 21 – It’s not about what you know, but who. Paul exhorted the Colossians that the way to salvation was not through what they knew but through the Lord Jesus Christ. Col. 2:4, 8; “And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ”.

New philosophies always come and go.  The one basic truth that has always stood the test of time is God Himself.  There are no other truths out there no matter what religion you may be or how intelligent you may become.  Ask the Mormon if he believes what Joseph Smith said about this subject.
