March 10 – Polytheism. Isaiah 43:10-11; “Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
The biblical passage today is known as the foundational passage defining our God. It’s been used countless times for describing Who He is, and for that matter, who we are too! There is no other savior at all at any time, or anywhere. Ask the Mormon if they understand that belief in their god qualifies them as polytheists. Also explain that you don’t have to worship the other gods, you just have to believe they exist. Dictionary.com defines polytheism this way; “the doctrine of or belief in more than one god or in many gods”.
