March 17 – The revolving door in Mormon canon. 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us that God is never a God of confusion. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints”.
While updating our perpetual Witnessing Tip Calendar we noticed the Church had changed the intro for 3 Nephi 28. Mormons will say ‘but that isn’t scriptural’, however, the comments made in the intro actually changes what happened in 3 Nephi 28. As we’ve stated many times over, God is not the author of confusion so why would the Mormon god allow this to happen?
Third Nephi; “Introduction of 3 Nephi 28. Each of the twelve is granted his heart’s desire – Three elect to remain on earth until the Lord comes in his glory…They are made immune to death and disaster”.
Third Nephi; “Chapter 28 Nine of the twelve disciples desire and are promised an inheritance in Christ’s kingdom when they die—The Three Nephites desire and are given power over death so as to remain on the earth until Jesus comes again—They are translated and see things not lawful to utter, and they are now ministering among men. About A.D. 34–35.”
