March 29 – Ephesians 4:11-14 shows us how the body of Christ operates. It says; “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children being tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”.

Several years ago the Church came out with a type of witnessing tool known as the “Seventeen Points of the True Church”. They’re little business type cards they’d hand out as conversation starters to explain why they’re the only church that truly followed Jesus Christ. Over the next few days we’ll be looking at a few of them, and today we’re looking at card #1.

“Point 1. Christ organized the Church. Eph. 4:11-14.”
Using the Bible in any other scenario would be admirable, however, in this scenario it’s an ambiguous shot at best for their cover-up.
They only believe ‘the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly’. This is their 8th Article of Faith.
