Today’s lesson from the LDS teachings will show you why it’s necessary to keep a dictionary on hand. Some Mormons don’t even trust a Webster’s Dictionary as being reliable so pray your friend will at least agree to this. There are actually three topics for today so ask them what they think of the following items.
The meaning of eternal; how God came to be God; and the theory that if Jesus was to be obedient unto all things according to the dictates of Mormonism, He had to be married.

Gospel Through the Ages, pp. 114-115; “From day to day He [God] exerted His will vigorously, and as a result became thoroughly acquainted with the forces lying about Him. As he gained more knowledge through persistent effort and continuous industry, as well as through absolute obedience, His understanding of the universal laws continued to become more complete.”
Interesting that the creator of the laws of the universe had to become acquainted with them.
How does someone place their trust in such a god as this? What if he didn’t know how to handle the life situation you need help with? Very sad.
