How many items are on your list of ‘must-dos’, and who determined what should and shouldn’t be there? Will the items on the list make you pure? Oswald Chambers once said we usually begin trusting our ignorance by calling it innocence, and then trusting that by calling it purity. However, when Jesus comes into scenario we become incensed at His indictment. Taking upon ourselves the name of Christ always entails being crucified with Him. Are you? Introduce a Mormon to the idea they must be crucified to Him because this usually isn’t in their vocabulary. Their works are always performed by leaning on their own strength, instead of handing it all over to the Lord.
