November 30 — Jesus the Polygamist? Zechariah 9:9c; “… and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
John 5:30; “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”

The Messiah would be just… Most unfortunately Mormons have taken this very scripture from John to justify their belief that Jesus was a literal son of God the Father who followed in his footsteps to become a polygamist.
They haven’t a clue as to the significance of a King riding on an unused colt, or what it means that only God can judge, and forgive. While it’s still today, share one or two things from this awesome teaching to the Mormon in your life and tell them what it means to you personally.

The Seer, p. 172; “…the great Messiah who was the founder of the Christian religion, was a polygamist…marrying many honorable wives himself…God the Father had a plurality of wives…the Son followed the example of his Father…both God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ inherit their wives in eternity as well as in time.” – Orson Pratt, 1857
There is nothing in the Bible that even remotely suggests Jesus was a polygamist.
Polygamy was NOT part of His mission here on earth. This should be offensive to all Christians.
I know, right?! How sad for the Mormons who believe this is true and have no sense of they should be offended. Sigh…
Just another example that the LDS worship a different Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible.
The Mormon Jesus is a different Jesus than traditional Christianity .
The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. For the Christ of whom I speak as been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. He together with His Father, appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in the year 1820, and when Joseph left the grove that day, he knew more of the matters of God than all the learned ministers of the gospel of the ages.”
