March 14 – Pray for your enemies. Matthew 5:44; “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

One of the main jobs in the life of a Christian is prayer. Christians know what the world thinks, so they take solace in what God said in John 15:18, ‘If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you’. The mature Christian doesn’t react to outside events, but instead turns to Him who saves. The Mormons have flowery phrases which on the outside sound very Christian, but we must take heed! Those that disagree with them are considered the ‘whores of Babylon’, and by and large, look down upon anyone who doesn’t agree with their gospel. Today’s LDS reference is a good example of how they seem ‘nice’, but don’t be surprised if you disagree with their gospel. The Church’s track record carries the indelible footprint of intolerance.
