June 16 – Blessed when reviled. Matt. 5:11 “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”

The word for today is revile; in Greek it is oneidizo. It means to defame, or rail at, or towards. Notice when you show a Mormon how they’ve misinterpreted scripture they will accuse you of horrible things instead of discussing the issues at hand. Memorize Acts 5:41 – ‘And they departed from the presence of the council rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name’.
Don’t be impatient with the dear Mormon people. Remind yourself of how patient the Lord has been with you dear one! Galatians 5:1 tells us to stand fast in the liberty God has given. See Oswald Chambers devotional for May 6th.
The BoM verse today is one of the main things that kept me in the Church for so long. I knew I was a lot of things, but the thought of being a whore was more than I could bear. It had been repeatedly taught by my leaders no one should ever contemplate being anything but a Mormon.

1 Nephi 14:9-10 “…behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose foundation is the devil…the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth”.
Remember, hold on that that Great Iron Rod (the church). For if you let go of the Great Iron Rod, damnation waits you. Mormons are taught that salvation can only come through receiving the saving ordinances, which can only happen in a Mormon house of worship or Temple
AH, but they claim they never attack “other” Christians. It is just Christians who attack them.
