“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 [emp. added]
PROVO — College students should not put off creating families until they have completed all of their studies, an LDS Church apostle said Sunday. … Nelson made the statements during a Church Education System fireside broadcast
He urged college students …to visualize their life in 50 years.
By then, careers would be over and faith and families would be their focal points.
Broad minds and narrow waists would have traded places.
He urged his listeners to seek first to follow the teachings of the church before seeking wealth, which includes the commandment to create families. …” [emp. added]
Matthew 15:9 “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
Question:
Would a true prophet plagiarize part of what Jesus said to promote his own ideas?
By whose righteousness will we enter heaven? If we’re counting on our own, we won’t make it! Hence, needing a Savior!
Moreover, who’s telling the truth? Is it Jesus, or Mr. Nelson? Whom should you seek first?
We’re praying Mormons will seek the Lord first, and trust His words over a man-made commandment that families are required for entrance into heaven!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
