Journal of Discourses 5:83-84 “…if the Prophet of God should tell me that a certain principle or theory which I might have learned was not true, I do not care what my ideas might have been, I should consider it my duty, as the suggestion of my file leader, to abandon that principle or theory.” – Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City, April 9, 1857
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
This is also known as brainwashing. When a person tells you to abandon something of yourself because it doesn’t line up with their rules, you need to run the other way! It’s one thing to be conformed to Christ, and quite another to be conformed to a manmade religion.
Explain with demonstrative evidence why blind trust is never a good thing!

Just drink the koolaid.
This is exactly how cults are formed. Abandon common sense and what you instinctively know is right and instead, follow the teachings of a man who proclaims to be a prophet of God. Jim Jones, anybody????
