Book of Mormon is Book of Lies

Ensign, ‘A Book with a Promise,’ May 2008 “The Book of Mormon is a book with a purpose. From the title page we read that the Book of Mormon was ‘written by way of commandment’ and ‘by the spirit of prophecy and of revelation’ to ‘come forth by the gift and power of God’ to the convincing of each of us ‘that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God.’ In a personal expression of this purpose, Nephi, as one of the authors of the Book of Mormon, wrote, ‘The fulness of mine intent is that I may persuade men to come unto the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and be saved’ (1 Nephi 6:4).” — Craig C. Christensen

Galatians 1:8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

Mr. Christensen may have meant to sound truthful, but his message is filled with clanking cymbals.

It couldn’t have come forth through the God’s power, because God isn’t a God of confusion, nor can God lie! He wouldn’t have given us Galatians 1:6-9 and the BoM as well.

We also know it couldn’t have come from God because of the lie it tells on the front page Mr. Christensen tried to claim is truth.

Mormons do NOT believe that Jesus is ‘the Eternal God’. They do NOT believe in the Trinity, nor can their Jesus be eternal if he was created.

The  only purpose of the BoM is to lead people away from Jesus, not to Him.

Be sure to ask the Mormon you know what they think of Mr. Christensen’s talk!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
