“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8
On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, a magnitude 5.7 earthquake rocked the Salt Lake area.
Although the epicenter was 14 miles away in Magna, its effects were felt throughout the region.
In the aftermath even the angel Moroni couldn’t hold on.
His empty hand is a symbolic reminder of the missing truth his false gospel proclaims. Moreover, it’s a great reminder of who’s really in charge!
During these days of COVID-19, and now the SLC earthquake, pray with us that Mormons will accept the real Jesus of the Bible, and denounce their angel of light! 2 Corinthians 11:13-14

Oh! I was hoping a steeple would go when I heard news. God had better plans😊
I was more than a little surprised when I heard the news. I had called my mother to see if she was okay from the quake because she lives in the area. She was fine, but expressed a very surprising piece of news with me. Seeing Moroni’s trumpet fall somehow made her think about things. !!! Her immediate thought was ‘how will God tell everyone if Moroni dropped his horn’? She then told me she had been to my website for the very first time and began reading. Yay for mum! Pray for her!!!
Wow!!! Wonderful news! Amazing because all this time praying for her! I join you in prayer daily. Praise to God for this earthquake.✝👍
Thank you my sweet friend! I’m praising Him as well for the earthquake!!!
Wow, hope she keeps.reading, (and absorbing). Let’s see how this plays out.
How come Moroni has never exalted into to a god of his on planet? I mean he must be an amazing guy to be placed on top of temples, so shouldn’t be be a god by now?
How wonderful to read that your mom visited your site. If only my daughter would. She posted a photo of Moroni sans trumpet. I didn’t dare respond but I am praying this is a good beginning of things falling apart and truth revealed to the lost.
The trumpet, the voice of Moroni, has fallen. To me, this is definately god sending the folks in SLC a message. Your God is a false God and I have removed the sound of his trumpet from your midst
Another thought about the trumpet falling. Isaiah spends much time in chapter 44, waxing satirical about the folly of man-made idols. One point he made was that idols tip over and must be picked up and placed back on the stand man made for it. This event in SLC reminded me so much of that chapter. Someone with a crane, or whatever, will have to retrieve the trumpet and re-attach it to the golden idol atop the temple.
The trumpet being knocked from Moroni’s hand was like God warning the Mormons, that he is not happy about them proclaiming their “Restored Gospel” to the world. Who knows anyway, except God?
