May 2 — Exalting the False Gospel of a False God.
General Conference Exalted a God of Sex.
Luke 20:34–36 “…The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
_____
Indeed, there are no marriages in heaven as we know them on earth. The Lord has also told us in Revelation 19:7-9, the only marriage in heaven is that of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, where His bride consists of those who are saved.
Once again at a General Conference, an LDS apostle emphasized God’s most important power is sex. They seem to know no bounds in degrading our Most Holy God.
Be sure to share with a Mormon that sex is not part of God’s plan for salvation!

General Conference, ‘The Great Plan’ April 2020 “The power to create mortal life is the most exalted power God has given His children. … The emphasis the restored gospel places on this law of chastity is because of the purpose of our procreative powers in the accomplishment of God’s plan.” — Dallin H. Oaks
At general conference 2019, Dallin Oaks quoted Nelson by saying” President Nelson has taught” (did you get that??? not what God taught),”This church was restored so that families could be formed, sealed and exalted eternally”.
This is the LDS church’s golden calf and they bow at it’s feet.
When Jesus was “invited” to the wedding in Cana, why didn’t he tell the bride and groom you must be sealed for time and all eternity in the temple? Why wasn’t Jesus eternally married in the temple? Why isn’t it taught in the Bible, or the BOM?
As much as we may love our spouses, and as wonderful they may be… NOTHING, nothing compares to be espoused Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2-5, He is our eternal Bridegroom.
When we accept the true Gospel 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 we are adopted into the Body of Christ. And we are His bride Forever. As Christians our focus is all on Jesus and what He did for us. Not our mortal spouses.
I’m 54 and still single. So what happens to single people like me? Seems I don’t have any hope of eternal life, according to the “restored LDS church”.
“I would like you to be free of concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, such as, how he can he please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world–how he can please his wife. His interests are therefore divided. An unmarried woman is concerned about the affairs of the Lord.. Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is conerned about the affairs of this world—how she may please her husband. If anyone is worried he might not be acting appropriately toward his fiance, and if his passions are too strong and he feels he ought to marry, then he should do as he wants.” (1 Corinthinas 7: 32-36)
Bottom line, the LDS position about marriage and being sealed to families is totally against what the Lord has told us (via Paul) in the Bible. A single person, can devote more time to serving God and thus, become stronger in their faith than a married person.
The idea that You Have to be Married in order to reach Level #1 of the Celestial Kingdom is pure nonsense. The idea of being sealed in the temple is totally a manmade concept. God has never (demanded) that his children marry. He has commanded us to be fruitful and multiply, however, he has never told us that if we don’t marry and have kid, we will never be 100% connected to Him in heaven
The entire marriage scene and having (lots) of kids was a manmade idea, likely from the mind and mouth of Joe or Brigham. It is not from God. The Mormons want to bring forth more “spirit children into this world”. They want those babies blessed during a sacrament meeting and for their parents to promose to raise their kids as devout Mormons.
Mormons don’t realize they are being duped because they don’t read their Bibles, neither are they encouraged to.
