Mormon 4:10-12 “And it came to pass that the three hundred and sixty and sixth year had passed away, and the Lamanites came
2 Nephi 10:3 “Wherefore, as I said unto you, it must needs be expedient that Christ—for in the last night the angel spake unto me that this should be his name—should come among the Jews, among those who are the more wicked part of the world; and they shall crucify him—for thus it behooveth our God, and there is none other nation on earth that would crucify their God.”
Foregoing the falsehood that Jesus’ name ‘must be Christ’, we’re looking at another issue in this BoM passage.
Unfortunately, while the BoM was busy contradicting itself, it didn’t take into account Mary. She stands as proof not everyone was wicked. The same can be said of John the Baptist, his parents, and those Jesus would choose as His disciples.
Luke 1:28 “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”
When you have the opportunity, ask the Mormon you know for their opinion about these things.
With Love in Christ;
