August 26 – 1 John 1:10 “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

You’ll definitely want to ask the Mormon for their opinion about God’s word and their doctrine that kids can’t sin before they’re eight years old. At the age of eight all Mormons are baptized for the remission of sins. The next day at their confirmation during a Sacrament meeting, they’re given the ‘gift of the Holy Ghost’ when three men in the bishopric place hands on their head and pray over them. The meeting also is the time when the child formally becomes a member of the LDS Church.
Ask the Mormon if the child’s behavior the day after baptism was any different than it was the day before baptism. If the child did the same thing both days, and the action, or behavior was wrong, why would it be a sin on one day and not the other?

Doctrine and Covenants 29:47 “Wherefore, they cannot sin, for power is not given unto Satan to tempt little children, until they begin to become accountable before me.”
D&C=deceive and corrupt?? Dissemble and cheat?? Disguise and conceal?? It certainly cannot stand for anything holy.
Great insight! There’s also – Deceive and Corrupt. 😉
Okay, one more… Deceive and Confuse. I think the list could go on and on…sigh…
Right. Deceive and corrupt was my first suggestion. The list is endless, as you suggest. Very sad news.
The list could go on and on! My first thought was deceive and corrupt. Evil, sad and destructive.
