I’ve been a Christian for over 30 years and have never heard any pastor say something like Brigham Young did here.
The behavior and thought life of this man was downright deplorable. You’ll notice how they still condone his teachings by publishing his sermons in their vast library.
The name of this LDS book ‘Essential Brigham Young’ implies they believe his teachings are an essential part of what you need in your home. Shame on them.
The passage in First Kings is a good example of what happens when you align yourself with those not following the Lord.
One of the important parts of this is what the Lord said about slandering someone. You will be held accountable for what you say!
Ask a Mormon if they believe that evil is inverted good. May He have mercy on these people.
With Love in Christ —
