This brand new ex-Mormon Christian wishes to remain anonymous for the sake of privacy for his family who are still very active in the Church. His story is an amazing picture of how God redeems us from sin and ourselves even when we’re at our lowest point in life!

Pursued by the One True God: My journey out of Mormonism
Story of an ex-Mormon bishop
After joining Mormonism as a teen and subsequently studying religion of every sort the Lord reached down and saved Gail! She now runs a ministry with her husband teaching others about the dangers of Mormonism.
Being raised in Mormonism and Christianity by divorced parents causes confusion for kids. This woman’s story is remarkable of how God still protected her and drew her out of Mormonism!
Simply put this woman’s story is amazing! With her own blog and ministry she still finds time to take care of her family farm and live a blessed life!
Camden came from a hearty stock of Mormon pioneers. A multi-generational Mormon with a grandmother who’s back yard served as the area where they cast the alabaster bulls in the Salt Lake Temple for the baptismal font when they baptize dead people. He has a fantastic testimony in the Lord! Oh and he’s one of our volunteers to boot!
Doris Hanson has a thriving ministry in Utah where she ministers to those coming out of polygamy. You can see her on one of the many television shows they air in Utah which consists of a round table meeting of interviews with other experts on Mormonism and polygamy.
Emily and her husband Paul live in Oklahoma. She’s shared her awesomely cool testimony here with LAM. Her husband Paul was brought into reality by looking for info on one of his favorite television shows on the internet and he started reading info on the lies found in the Book of Abraham about Egyptian papyri. It led him out of the Church with Emily who soon followed.
After serving in every position she possibly could Tracy finally accepted the truth that Mormonism is not from God and gave her life to Jesus!!! The struggles she went through with her family and husband are remarkable!

We gave Melissa the distinction of Melissa 2 because we obviously have more than one here! The insight Melissa shares with the behavior of Mormons is a must read because as sad as it is, her analysis holds true and it doesn’t matter how long ago she wrote the story. The demeanor and behavior of Mormons never change.
You’re in for a treat with this testimony! Melissa is one of my faithful volunteers and writes many of the articles here on our site. While she and her husband Ralph were watching the History Channel about the Masonic Lodge’s secrets they realized the Mason’s secrets were the “sacred oaths” they’d taken in the DC temple. It didn’t take long for them to get out and accept the Lord!
All I can say is that you have to read this woman’s story. After leaving Mormonism she went back into it and then out for good. While talking to one of the Osmond brothers at her ward one day when he told her Joseph Smith appeared to him she began wondering…
As this is a comment for ex mormons. This website reminds me of a story. And what this websites does….
8 Now the sons of Mosiah were numbered among the unbelievers; and also one of the sons of Alma was numbered among them, he being called Alma, after his father; nevertheless, he became a very wicked and an idolatrous man. And he was a man of many words, and did speak much flattery to the people; therefore he led many of the people to do after the manner of his iniquities.
9 And he became a great hinderment to the prosperity of the church of God; stealing away the hearts of the people; causing much dissension among the people; giving a chance for the enemy of God to exercise his power over them.
(Mosiah 27:8-9)
Well, as an ex-Mormon I have to tell you that your quote from a book I don’t believe is the Word of God means nothing to me.
All of us at Life After Ministries desire to see Mormons saved. They’re shackled to a legalistic religion that tells them if they do their best Jesus will do the rest. Grace was never about works, it’s about freedom from works. If we could do one thing to help our salvation along Jesus didn’t have to come.
We’re praying for you Eric. We want you to know the joy that can only come through a relationship with the real Jesus Christ. – Melissa Grimes
I was an ex-member then I came to my senses after a talk from Dieter F Uchtdorf.
The great and spacious building is life after ministry and other systems to trick those who accepted Jesus Christ through The Book of Mormon.
1 Nephi 12:18
18 And the large and spacious building, which thy father saw, is vain imaginations and the pride of the children of men. And a great and a terrible gulf divideth them; yea, even the word of the justice of the Eternal God, and the Messiah who is the Lamb of God, of whom the Holy Ghost beareth record, from the beginning of the world until this time, and from this time henceforth and forever.
26 And I also cast my eyes round about, and beheld, on the other side of the river of water, a great and spacious building; and it stood as it were in the air, high above the earth.
27 And it was filled with people, both old and young, both male and female; and their manner of dress was exceedingly fine; and they were in the attitude of mocking and pointing their fingers towards those who had come at and were partaking of the fruit.
The point is to shame true believers of Jesus Christ and His Restored Gospel.

Come unto Christ and be saved. Jesus is the only way not anti-Christs the reject His Holy Gospel found in the Book of Mormon.
I was a convert from the Baptist Church. I joined the Mormon Church even though I had serious doubts about it’s truthfulness. I was impressed by the fact that Mormons seemed so willing to sacrifice their time to do God’s work. I used to watch Missionaries peddle their bicycles down the street in the middle of a Phoenix, Arizona summer. I thought, how many Baptists would be willing to that. Within months of joining the church I realized I had made a terrible mistake. I left the church and rejoined the Baptist Church. Mormonism is dangerous, dark, full of half truths and deceit. It is part of the Devil’s Playground. I will say this, however, Mormons are some of the nicest, generous, wholesome and loving people on the planet.
God opened my eyes to the deception of Mormonism through Ed Decker’s book The God Makers. I have had opportunity to speak in several Christian churches about the fallacy of Mormonism.
