Twice a year we see our dentists and twice a year the Mormon Church pulls out all the stops and has the leadership stand in front of millions worldwide to convey what God is telling them inside the white alabaster walls in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Here’s our synopsis of what we thought were the highlights! Sometimes their news is as painful as the news we receive from our dentist…

We counted ten lies Mr. Eyring told about God’s Holy Spirit!
Apostle Neil Andersen said faith in things not seen must override negative thoughts or feelings. Questioning the Church, he said, is okay, but not really.
Elder Allen Haynie’s speech about the preexistence was filled with lies and suppositions of what he thought we did and didn’t do when everyone voted in Jesus as Savior at the ‘Grand Council’.
LDS Prophet Thomas Monson suggested that repentance makes man new. What about God’s Holy Spirit working inside of man? What role does He play if works is all it takes?
Mr. Uchtdorf told members not to let the torch die out by the end of your race. The torch, he said is Jesus who is eternal and will never die out.
The Church highlighted five speakers they would have at conference in October.
Talks we looked at for this was from Mr. Hallstrom, Mr. Kearson, and Mr. Dallin Oaks. This year they all seem unattached and not focused at all on Jesus!
The summaries we listed here were from Mr. Eyring, Mr. Uchtdorf, and Mr. Holland. None of the three men sounded like they were interested in Jesus, and we’re wondering why…
Dallin Oaks said the central plan of their god was to provide opposition. This would mean God is the instigator of evil in your life! Is this what the God of the Bible tells us?
The focus of Mr. Nelson’s talk at General Conference was on the two little deceased girls who appeared to him in a dream and subsequently asked him why he hadn’t performed the temple rituals for the dead. This is necromancy! Deut. 18:11
Dieter Uchtdorf told women in the Church they should be on a quest to connect with God. He also said, ‘Until then, we walk by whatever faith we have’. It sounds so dismal!
Our look at 3 talks by Craig Christensen, Carol F. McConkie, and Thomas Monson, provided no new news from God, and more of the same lies. Their outlook for a Christian life was quite dismal! Why is that?
Our look at 3 talks by Juan A. Uceda, David A. Bednar, and Peter F. Meurs. The main theme was to remember who Jesus is, praying to the right person of the deity, and taking the Sacrament makes you holy.

If they’re going to fashion themselves after women in the Bible, they’ll need to don some new spiritual attire. The God of the Bible is NOT the god of Mormonism at all!

LDS Apostle Eyring told members at the April 2017 General Conference that God is concerned about their comfort and their ‘upward progress’. Wow! The Church has said in the past they don’t believe in false teachings from earlier leaders who embraced eternal progression, yet here we are again. Oh dear. Don’t forget to pray!
