Conflicting Messages

2 Nephi 2:22-23; “And now, behold, if Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end. 23 And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin.”

2 Nephi 15:20; “Wo unto them that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Revelation 21:8; “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Joseph Smith has led the Mormon into believing that God purposefully tricked Adam into sinning. If Adam & Eve hadn’t sinned they wouldn’t have been able to have kids in the Garden of Eden. 

Interestingly enough had they read their own scripture a handful of chapters later they would’ve rejected Adam and Eve’s lie of being tricked by God to sin.
