Mormon Dilemma 343

Nothing Hidden

Waiting on the Road to Damascus”, Liahona and Ensign, May 2011; “”Those who diligently seek to learn of Christ eventually will come to know Him. They will personally receive a divine portrait of the Master, although it most often comes in the form of a puzzle—one piece at a time. Each individual piece may not be easily recognizable by itself; it may not be clear how it relates to the whole. Each piece helps us to see the big picture a little more clearly. Eventually, after enough pieces have been put together, we recognize the grand beauty of it all. Then, looking back on our experience, we see that the Savior had indeed come to be with us—not all at once but quietly, gently, almost unnoticed.””—Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Luke 8:16-17; “No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

Just imagine the surprise for every Mormon that realizes the truth from the passage in Luke. Living on this side of the cross there’s no need to wonder what else there is to find out and what things you don’t know.

Don’t confuse this guy’s statement with growing in the Lord. There’s nothing in the Bible that’s hidden from anyone and if we decide we can’t see Jesus clearly it’s because we haven’t opened our eyes.
