Christians are Whoremasters

Journal of Discourses 5:90; “Christians—those poor, miserable priests brother Brigham was speaking about—some of them are the biggest whoremasters there are on the earth, and at the same time preaching righteousness to the children of men. The poor devils, they could not get up here and preach an oral discourse, to save themselves from hell; they are preaching their fathers’ sermons—preaching sermons that were written a hundred years before they were born.” – Heber C. John 15:16; “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Can you imagine standing in front of Jesus and calling His bride a whore?

If Jesus chose us how feasible would it be that He’d let us stray in this manner?

If Jesus said we’d bear fruit how feasible would it be that it wouldn’t remain as He said it would? 

And finally if Jesus said that we would receive what we asked for how feasible would it be that He would abandon us as the Mormon god abandons his people in the Book of Mormon?
