Duty of Men & Women to Have Kids

Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, pg 541; “Brigham Young emphasized: “There are multitudes of pure and holy spirits waiting to take tabernacles, now what is our duty?—to prepare tabernacles for them; to take a course that will not tend to drive those spirits into the families of the wicked, where they will be trained in wickedness, debauchery, and every species of crime. It is the duty of every righteous man and woman to prepare tabernacles for all the spirits they can.” (Discourses of Brigham Young, p. 197.)”

Colossians 2:13-15; “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

 And He nailed them to the cross…these are the things each and every Mormon needs to remember when they think of their daunting list of ordinances and must-dos in Mormonism.

If Jesus couldn’t die for that then why did He die? 

And the idea that we lived before we came to earth is another subject altogether.  Guilting people to have kids because they might go to a horrible family is nothing less than prostituting members of the Church.
