Prep Work for Smith Long before Jesus’ Birth
2 Timothy 3:2-5; “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Here we go again with prideful comments that are also untruthful.
Let’s look at this statement by Mr. Hales a little closer shall we?
1. Have you ever noticed how the Church overuses the word atonement? It’s almost like they use it as a mask for some hidden meaning. They also use it without giving any depth – in other words it’s just a catch-all phrase to make them sound Christian yet there’s no meat to the bone.
2. How did history lay the groundwork for Smith’s church?
3. Specifically what prophecy laid the groundwork for Mormonism?
4. Oh we definitely have eyes to see that events like Mormonism prepare us for the Lord’s return. We’re praying that everyone opens their eyes to the deceitful ways of Joseph Smith and his false prophecies!
