Three Nephites Still Alive

Key to Science of Theology, pg 31; “By this science three of those Apostles, having a change wrought upon them, tarried in the flesh upon the earth, ministered the Gospel and its blessings nearly four hundred years, and then withdrew from the people because of their iniquity…By this science they yet live in the flesh upon the earth, holding keys of Apostleship and power upon the western hemisphere, being now about one thousand eight hundred years old.” – Parley Pratt

Genesis 6:3; “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”

Wow.  According to Mormonism these fellows lived longer than Adam at 930 years and longer than Seth at 912 yrs… 

IF these guys were still alive then why the “Great Apostasy”??  Surely the gospel was still on the earth if they were alive, right? 

Alas, if you read this man’s “theory” the Church has come up with an excuse for that as well. God prevented them from spreading the gospel because people weren’t acting obediently.  My, that’s convenient – what a tangled web we weave…
