Journal of Discourses 16:70; “I do not know that I shall have a wife or child in the resurrection. I have never had any thoughts or reflections upon this, or cared the first thing about it. Proverbs 30:5-6; “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
If Brigham had just believed God’s word and not tossed it away like a used rag he wouldn’t be unsure!
And why is he preaching families are forever when he’s not sure that’s what really will happen?
