Lying for God

D&C 129:7; “…it is contrary to the order of heaven for a just man to deceive…”

Jeremiah 48:10; “Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully.”

Not only have the leaders of Mormonism contradicted the Bible, but they’ve even contradicted the Mormon god as well. 

When that happens where do you go?  Whom do you believe?  Is there a part or parcel of anything to cling to in your time of need within the confines of Mormon teachings? 

As Christians we find our hope and solace in the Lord and His provision of the Bible!  It never changes and is always reliable. It’s not there waiting for you to pay your tithe like the Mormon leaders are, it’s not there wanting to dictate to you or contradict itself. 

As my daughter Axi said about the book of Deuteronomy years ago; “It’s God’s love letter to us”. 

Furthermore, leaving out part of the story about your version of the gospel is indeed referred to as lying and deceitful. God doesn’t need your lies to spread His good news.
